Support the development of procurement expertise across the company and to support staff development, knowledge of procurement activities. With monitoring Stock management, contractors, fleet, and business linkage. Delivering cost-effective business process improvements,
- Understanding and awareness for key business functions and processes.
- Member of the operations & Procurement staff, responsible to routinely report on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.
- Manage the supply chain with the objectives of improving quality, cost, and delivery performance and providing added value over and above monetary considerations.
- Continually monitor, evaluate, and improve supplier performance including the regular use of audit and benchmarking techniques to objectively measure suppliers against a range of targets and objectives.
- Control stock to manage production scheduling/ordering with our supply chain to ensure that stock levels match requirements within the constraints of working capital affordability and cash budgets.
- Manage volume-based supply agreements to ensure we exploit financial incentives to deliver pre-defined volume targets. To assist in the negotiation of that volume-related deals.
- Negotiation of prices, contracts, and SLA’s for company consumables and services to secure the best possible trading terms with our suppliers and to maintain a database of supplier agreements.
- Review the current systems and practices, and make strategic recommendations for improved processes going forward including production introductions, order and supplier management, inventory management and distribution servicing, supporting financial management goals
- Control inventory budgets and oversee demand planning. By reviewing the service levels currently provided by our third-party logistics supplier and move the relationship forward to ensure further enhanced levels of service.
- Overseeing the complete business function of an organization in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans & has authority in making relevant decisions.
- Maintaining awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards, and so forth.
- Frequent contact with internal teams such as procurement and projects as well, vendors, authorities such as third party agencies, insurance providers.
Work Requirement
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in business development, customer management, and Strong communication and presentation skills, Must be team-oriented and results in focus, Superb negotiation capabilities.
- Knowledge of shipping laws and procurement procedures.
- International working experiences.
